Widecombe Church Medieval Documents

This paper, entitled 'Revisiting Some Medieval Documents of Widecombe Church'. analyses the earliest known documents relating to Widecombe Church that are held in the Exeter Cathedral Archive and also Bishop Bronescombe's Register which is held at the South West Heritage Trust. These documents relate to the period 1250-1300. Some new information has been unearthed that revises current views of this early period in Widecombe Church's history.
